A silk medashi featuring very fine nostalgic historical motifs created utilizing the woven brocade technique.  A medashi is a sample created by obi designers to show to clients.  A medashi is not cut from a larger sample, and has selvedges on all four sides.  This medashi sample has extremely detailed woven work: an obi made like this sample would have been very expensive.  Excellent condition.  13 inches x 27 inches.
